What Is TCCA 90? 

TCCA 90 stands for Trichloroisocyanuric Acid, a stabilized chlorine compound — meaning it already contains cyanuric acid, so it resists breakdown from sunlight far better than unstabilized products. This is what separates trichlor chlorine tablets from other forms of pool chlorine:

• Trichlor vs dichlor: Trichlor (TCCA 90, like this product) is highly acidic (pH 2.7–3.3) and slow-dissolving, best for continuous dosing via tablet feeders or skimmers. Dichlor chlorine is faster-dissolving and near-neutral pH, better suited to shock-dosing or spa startup.
