The alkaline antiscalant – 900 offered by Pearl Water offers the best antiscalant for high Ph applications.
Please refer to the manufacturer T&C for specific results.
Dosing rate of 3 – 5 ppm recommended for ideal result , dosing may differ as per membrane manufacturer terms, refer to membrane manufacturer operation manual for specific applications.
Lowers operating cost of Industrial RO Systems.
5 ltr. Capacity
The Antiscalants are produced from specially designed chemicals to discourage scale formation and precipitation of crystallized mineral salts into the RO membranes.By getting absorbed on the scale & forming salt crystals antiscalants prevents mineral scaling and through this process prevents the bonding of the supersaturated salt to the crystal surfaces. It is a man-made polymers for example polyacrylic acids, phosphonates, anionic polymers.

Due to impact of high pressure generated from pumping system in a RO System the water will pass through the membranes but leaves behind minerals which will not pass due to its ion size and this will lead to scale formation if they are allowed to concentrate beyond their saturation limit therefore flushing them out at regular intervals is very important.
Also knowing the right antiscalant alongwith dosing rate required for your membranes is very important otherwise scaling issues will occur which will lead to subsequent performance losses in the RO System.
Application areas of Antiscalant - Alkaline - 900 :-
These are specially manufactured chemicals and are fed upstream of the RO System , typically dosing happens at a very low rate and regular flushing out the scales formed in the process is very important. On the one hand under dosing can cause scaling or fouling and on the other hand overdosing can cause a deposition of the antiscalant onto the membrane surface in result creating an organic fouling problem.
