To treat the water from effluents, our ETP plants use the following methods:

  • Ph Correction Process

  • Coagulation & Flocculation Methods

  • Settling tanks techniques

  • Filtration technique

  • Tertiary Treatment  and polishing of water with filters.

Our Effluent treatment plants are suitable for industrial sectors like pharmaceuticals, chemicals &leather industry, tanneries, food processing units, automobile industry, etc.

FAQS

  1. Why is the ETP Plant required?

Factories and industries produce tons of contaminated and chemical water, which can pose a threat to the environment if released without treatment. Hence, to avoid damage to the environment, the ETP plant is required to treat the water and make it clean and safe to release into the environment.

Some industries also use the ETP plant to recycle and reuse the water.

  1. What is the mechanism of an effluent treatment plant?

The ETP plant has three treatment levels:

  1. Primary level in which particles like suspended solids are settled down, and chemical treatment is done for pH control and flocculation.

  2. Secondary level involves the Chemical treatment of water with the help of coagulation & flocculation method .

  3. Tertiary level involves the complete cleaning of wastewater with chlorine , multigrade filters and Carbon filters the remaining inorganic components before releasing the water into the environment.

  1. Is there a difference between a water treatment plant and an effluent treatment plant?

Yes. Water treatment plants are used to remove bacteria, salts, minerals or other impurities from the water and make water fit for human consumption , whereas Effluent treatment plants treat industrial wastewater consisting of harmful toxins for reuse or safe disposal into the environment.
