What is the Difference Between GAC and Activated Carbon Block?

Each set of water filters included with a RO Plant plays a unique part in the purification process. Not only will a RO Carbon filter eliminate contaminants, but it will also improve the flavour.

Domestic Carbon Filter is crucial in the process of purifying water because they eliminate all undesirable chemicals, pollutants, and organic compounds like chlorine and pesticides.

Additionally, it enhances the taste of drinking water while being efficient at eliminating unpleasant odours from water. The activated carbon particles in a residential carbon filter absorb all the pollutants, including odour and unpleasant taste.

Both the pre-RO and post-RO water purification processes use domestic carbon filters.

What is the main difference between Granular Actvated Carbon and Activated Carbon Block?

Granular carbon filters, or GAC filters, are another name for these. Since the carbon in this instance is granular, the particles are not firmly intertwined. In order to direct the flow of water, these granules are subsequently placed in a specialised filter case that once had one intake and one outflow.

on the other hand Water moves very slowly through carbon block filters because the carbon granules in these filters are densely compressed, leaving very little molecular space between them. Typically, they serve as pre-Carbon filters.

Hence both the carbon filters are almost similar with respect to their base material but the molecular weight and the molecular space between them creates a huge impact in diffferentiating between both of them.

Carbon Filters instead of their actual difference works almost the same and below mentioned are some of the major advantages of having a Carbon Filter for the Filtration of water.

Volatile organic compounds, or VOCs, are extremely damaging to human bodies and are volatile by nature. These are a part of our everyday world, and we utilise them for a variety of things like refrigeration, paints, gum, and many other things. Formaldehyde, chloroform, paint thinners, dry cleaning chemicals, etc. are a few examples of VOCs. These organic substances often have a very mild odour and dissipate quickly in the air. Multiple forms of VOCs are easily removed from water using carbon filters, making it safe for ingestion.

Eliminating unwanted odours from the water as because the water is constantly changing its form, it is impossible to tell where it is coming from. Water that has been through a carbo filter is odor-free, making it feel pure to drink. Since water doesn't contain that scent and carbon filters remove all other smell-causing substances, the water is rendered odourless.

Removal of a variety of chemicals from the water as when water passes through a carbon filter, granules in the carbon filter remove a variety of chemicals from the water, including lead, gasoline, tartaric acid, benzene, fluoride, chlorine, and fluoride. These chemicals are known to be extremely harmful when consumed and can even result in serious and harmful diseases like cholera, diarrhoea, and stomach pain.

Pearl Water Carbon filter is extremely porous and has a large surface area, making it effective at reducing bad tastes, odors, and other contaminants in water. Pearl Water carbon filter acts as a parking lot with pores for parking spaces for impurities as water flows through. Carbon Filter price are very reliable and delivery is across PAN India.
